4 year olds behavior. really need some advice/help/anything!!!!?
i have 3 nieces, that i care for at times (more often than not) ages 4, 19 months, and 11 weeks. lately the oldest has started to move backwards in her behavior, and started mimicking her sister (behavior wise). she she sucks her fingers, uses less words (the 19 month old doesnt talk yet) when asking for something and sometimes she just points and grunts. but more concerning, she has started screaming at the top of her lungs when something doesnt go her way, and throwing things we give her that she doesnt want. her explanation: "well, my sister does it". is this a sign of something biiger and more serious, or is she doing this for attention (obviously still serious, but not as bad as it could be)?
she wants attention. she sees that she is the oldest and that you more than likely spend more time with the youngest. she figures in her mind, because they do it and they get their attention, i should do it so they love me too again.
