Can I give him rawhides bones?
canigive my alost four month old minature daschund little rawhide bones or any knid of rawhide if no why not or can he have them when he gets older
No rawhides, please. Dogs have a tendency to swallow large pieces and they do not pass. Which means a blockage.
Try Nyla Bones. They come in all shapes, sizes and flavors. They are what I use in my home of 7 dogs two of which are Dachshunds.

we have owned large dogs for over 30 years, never has one yet swallowed a chunk large enough to cause a blockage
different animals of the same breed chew more or less than the next
we have one rottie that unless he has a rawhide in his mouth the couch is next, we have another that wouldn’t chew on a single thing even if you put it in her mouth, she won’t touch a raw hide
when you give the little one a rawhide just watch him when he is chewing, is he a gobbler? or is he just chew chew chewing, enjoying the stick, if just a chewer, he should be fine, if a gobbler, watch and limit his rawhides

Yes, I give my 3 and 4 month old puppies rawhide bones, and they love them. They like chewing on those more than most of their toys.

NO, you don’t give a MINIATURE DACHSHUND, or any other dog, any form of rawhide. Rawhide can cause intestinal blockages. Why not just give Nylabones or knuckle bones you can obtain from your butcher?

I don’t feed my dog bones at all anymore. He would throw up a lot. But ever since we have stopped, he doesn’t barf anymore. To avoid any risk, don’t feed him raw hides bones as a puppy. When he grows up you can try but it might be better not to

No, especially for a puppy.
Try Bully Sticks instead, a much better and healthier alternative.
In the mean time you can get your dog Nylabones. They have ones made just for puppy teeth.
